Your Five Elements balance (五行) — what you have abundantly, what you lack. The element you lack often points to what you compulsively seek (in partners, in jobs, in lifestyle). 4. Your current DaYun period (大運) — the 10-year window you're in, and what it favors. 5. Your Useful God (用神) — the element that, when present in a year, brings ease.

Why "AI reading" is not a contradiction
Most "AI astrology" tools are LLMs hallucinating ungrounded metaphors. Ours is different in two ways:
1. The chart itself is computed deterministically — not by AI. We use classical jiéqì algorithms in Go, with the timezone-correct split-call fix that most online calculators get wrong.
2. The AI is constrained to cite the actual chart data. We have a citation guard that rejects responses where the AI invents a palace assignment, a Ten God placement, or a star/door/deity that isn't in the actual chart. (We learned this the hard way after a competitor incident in April 2026 where an AI told a user "your Kai Men is in Palace 2 SE" when it was actually in Palace 8 NE — that doesn't happen here.)
The AI brings language and synthesis. The classical math brings truth.
What the AI can NOT do
To set expectations honestly:
- Predict specific events. "You will get the job" is not a thing BaZi or AI can say. "This year favors Officer-related opportunities" is.
- Diagnose medical, legal, or financial problems. The disclaimer is not boilerplate — it's because BaZi pattern reading is not a substitute for licensed professional advice.
- Replace a master for major life decisions. For a multi-million-dollar deal, a marriage, or a major surgery, get a human master consultation. Our reading is excellent for the daily 10× use cases (which job to take, what month to launch, whether to push or wait).
- Read a partner's chart without consent. We require explicit consent for adding any second person to your roster. Roster entries must be 18+.
Frequently Asked Questions
How accurate is AI for BaZi interpretation?
For student-level interpretation (Day Master, Ten Gods, Five Elements basics), the AI handles ~85% of questions accurately, validated against practitioner-confirmed test cases. For master-level interpretation (subtle structures like 從格 Follower charts, 化氣格 Transformation charts, or 真假從化 True vs False Following), the AI either declines or recommends a human master. We disclose this — better to underclaim than overclaim.
Why free?

Do you train AI on my chart data?
No. Your reading is generated and forgotten. We do not use your conversations to train any model. (We also do not sell data to third parties — see our privacy policy for the named subprocessor list.)
Will the AI tell me what to do?
The AI explains what your chart suggests and what classical doctrine says about your situation — but the decision is yours. It will refuse to make medical, legal, or financial decisions for you, and it will refuse to predict specific outcomes. Use it as a thinking partner, not as an oracle.
What if I don't know my exact birth time?
Check the box "I don't know my hour" — we generate a reading based on Year + Month + Day pillars (75% of the analysis). The AI will tell you which interpretations would be more confident with the hour, so you can prioritize finding it (parents, birth certificate, hospital records).
Why not just use ChatGPT?
ChatGPT can describe BaZi conceptually, but it cannot calculate a chart. Ask it your birth date and it will hallucinate a chart that's wrong 50%+ of the time — wrong Day Master, wrong elements, wrong DaYun. Our calculator does the math correctly first; only then does the AI interpret. (Plus, ChatGPT will give you a different answer every time you ask the same question — ours is deterministic on the chart side.)
