How our chart differs from competitor tools

Three differences that change the answer:

1. Timezone correctness. Most QMDJ calculators (including some Chinese ones) read your input as if it were Beijing local time — wrong for everyone outside China. We use a split-call algorithm: jiéqì-driven layers compute in Beijing time, but local clock layers (Day pillar, Hour pillar) use your actual birth city's timezone.

2. Trinity-Gong lookup uses the rotated SkyStem (Heavenly Plate). Some tools mistakenly use the static Earth Plate, which gives the wrong palace for the Day/Hour/Year/Month gong. We follow the kinqimen reference algorithm (corrected per Time-General school doctrine).

3. Tian Rui (天芮) is correctly emitted. Some implementations fuse Tian Rui with Tian Qin into a meaningless string — meaning Tian Rui never appears as a label in any chart. We render it correctly per kinqimen convention: Tian Qin in the center palace stays Tian Qin; rotated to other palaces it shows as Tian Rui.
